After a fire destroyed the home, mom and daughter, who run their two-acre farm on the property, worked closely with Talmage Builders on every detail as a tribute to Lyn,, late father and husband, honoring the artist he was and the vision he left behind. At first view is a breathtaking front porch, hand-stacked vaulted ceiling flows from porch into the grand room. The oversized front door was salvaged by Lynn. Custom French doors crafted from reclaimed wood, open to the master bedroom and office. The floors are pine and repurposed wood. Each bathroom has a clawfoot tub saved by Lynn. Sinks are set in antique furniture. With an open floor plan, the kitchen is at the heart and work horse for the farm boasting a hundred year old maple butcher block, Wolf range, custom cabinets and island, Kohler farm sink and crank windows along the durable concrete counters. Custom back door and porch allow entrance to the mud room, bath and laundry room. The garage has an additional kitchen to ready the harvest for market with triple stainless sinks and a must see walk in “Cool Bot.” Roy Talmage Builders have given this family a farmhouse that truly reflects their livelihood and lifestyle.
